Bulldog boys place second

The Swanton track and field team took second in the boys competition while the girls finished third at a home NWOAL tri- meet versus Liberty Center and Bryan last Tuesday.

The boys had a total of five first place finishers. At the forefront was Gunnar Oakes who took first in both the high jump and long jump.

Other winners for the boys were Brennan Spiess in the 100m, Brett Bettinger in the 800m, and Anthony Howard in the 200m.

Sidney Taylor took home titles in both the shot put and discus for the Swanton girls. Also in the field, Julia Smith was victorious in the high jump.

Furthermore, the Bulldogs got wins from Bobbie Oberle in the 100m, Bridget Harlett in the 200m, and their 4×100 meter relay team.
